A Thoughtful, Step-by-Step Process

What to expect

A Steady, Supportive Process

I guide the process carefully and systematically from beginning to end.

Consult Call

We start with a consult call to determine whether an evaluation is a good fit and to get it scheduled.

Parent / Caregiver Intake

Parents or caregivers complete a clinical interview via telehealth (or in person, if preferred) to share their child's story.

Your child may be very different in the office, and that's okay. This is your space to share what they are like in their day-to-day life.

Ages 5 and Under — Observation & Testing

I begin by observing your child in their daycare or preschool setting.

Your child will then come to my office for a 2.5–3 hour testing appointment. The observation is included in the cost.

Ages 6+ — Two Testing Sessions

Your child will attend two 2.5-hour testing sessions.

During this time, there are multiple waiting areas available if you'd like to work remotely, read, or relax. Your child will have "brain breaks" as needed.

Parent / Caregiver Feedback

After all testing and observations are completed, I provide verbal feedback to parents or caregivers (via telehealth or in person).

We will review results and impressions together and talk through the best path forward for supporting your child.

Child Feedback (Ages 6+)

I meet with your child in a separate feedback session to share the results in a way they can understand.

For younger children, parents are often included. Sharing this information directly helps reduce shame and supports understanding.

Written Report

You will receive a detailed written report within two weeks of the parent feedback session.

This report summarizes results and can be shared with educators and treatment providers to support coordinated care.
