Hi! I’m Melissa.

I’m a pediatric neuropsychologist who gets to meet the coolest kids and teens. I truly love the work that I do. I don’t take it lightly that this is your baby (I have two of my own!). I am here to learn about my client’s brains, how they learn best, what’s happening in their social and emotional world, what’s getting in the way of their optimal functioning (that matches their ability to be comfortable and regulated), and how to use their amazing strengths to make life easier. I provide my clients, parents/caretakers, educators, and treatment teams with a roadmap to support my clients effectively. I am here to provide you with understanding, which will allow everyone to meet the kid or teen where they are and gradually raise the bar.

I specialize in assessment of developmental disabilities (neurodevelopmental disorders), such as autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), along with mental health concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, OCD). I also have specialized training in the assessment of fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), and unique experience with internationally adopted children. I have further experience and passion for working with individuals with a history of trauma.

In my free time, my husband and I join my two daughters in their world of Minecraft, cats, imaginary play, and being active outside. I love coffee, nature, and travel.
